Small Bathroom Lighting
Small bathroom lighting is quite simple and easy.
These are to facilitate the use of small bathrooms in your home.
Whether located beside the foyer, or under the staircase, or near
the kitchen, the small bathroom needs special attention when it
comes to small bathroom lighting. You need to evaluate and determine
the exact usage for your small bathroom before you are able to plan
on how to approach its lighting needs.
By introducing proper lighting to your small bathroom, you can
create a warm and cozy atmosphere for the user. You need to consider
the paint finish and the surrounding surface areas before determining
exactly which small bathroom lighting fixtures to use.
Recessed or indirect lighting may be used for specific areas of
your small bathroom, like atop your vanity sink or your water closet.
Indirect lighting may be installed at the perimeter of your bathroom
walls to give subtle definition of your space. It is recommended
to use only small sconces or wall lamps on both sides of your bathroom
mirror, so as not to protrude much and create a cluttered environment.
While you would want to maintain a warm and cozy appearance for
your small bathroom lighting, it is recommended that the lighting
fixtures you would decide to install would be bright enough for
reading, so as to be able to serve the user in focusing on cleaning
properly while in the bathroom. You can accentuate a critical portion
of your bathroom, for instance the sink area, with a bright halogen
lamp or two.
Use only safe, manufacturer-guaranteed, and moisture-proof small
bathroom lighting fixtures for your bathroom. Remember that you
can install several lights in your small bathroom and need not worry
about overly lighting the place. As a remedy, you can introduce
individual switches or dimmer switches to complement the number
of your small bathroom lighting fixtures.
